Sticks - Just in case you get the few but lucky ones that own more than one DP smoker, you might want to allow multiple selections.

Re: Which DPP do you Own?
Hello fellow DPP owners i have one that's not on your list.....
a "Big 40" that has been modified some what. It came factory with black stacks i added chrome stack's, a spare tire, barbed wire stripping and a new paint job.
Here is a slide show....

Big 40 spec`s.
48” W X 30” H X 42” D Cooking Chamber
36” W X 20” H x 20” D Fire Box
Locks on Cooking Chamber and Fire Box Doors for transit
2- 3 ½” black smoke stacks (now taller & chrome)
Single door on smoke box
Slide-out Grill
10” serving shelf on Cooking Chamber
Steamer system
13” White Mod wheels with radial tires. (now w/spare)
2000# Spring Ride Axle
Love this smoker, cooks like a dream and tow`s great too. Very easy to achieve the elusive "blue smoke" with this one. Bought it used from a fella in Minnesota. Only thing i would like to do is make a log rack under the cook chamber.
And maybe park it next to a fat fifty and see if a 60 series would magically appear in nine months.

Jeff,
That's a cool 40! You could easily add a storage rack underneath. I think if you engineered it correctly, you could put a storage rack over the the steamer.
Keep an eye on that spare tire. It could get a little wear from the heat of the cooking chamber. Do you have to turn the unit towards the wind in order to get a good draft? I have seen those same pipes on another unit, but they are able to turn the pipes manually.

Yes Tops i do have to turn her into the wind on windy days otherwise the wind sucks the heat out the bottom.
That or open up the firebox door to jack the temps up.
I also found out this weekend that i really need to build that log rack under the cook chamber. I cooked a county fair cook off this weekend & we needed a pickup truck and a half to haul all my stuff.
Won a peoples choice award in the pork category with some rib lets we turned in though.
Man i just cant get over how well the reception is with this cooker, all day long i had to stop and talk to people about the cooker..... "oh cool chrome stacks, where did ya get this thing" ...... "Whats the box on top for" ? (steamer option)
Had a ball, also got four 30 second slots of radio air time too. A local station was giving blow by blow reports on the cook-off and she really talked up "Whyldfire Bar-B-Que Catering" and how great the food looked and tasted.
So all in all it was a very good day.

Very Nice
Sounds like it was a great weekend for you. Me I just smoked up the driveway doing some practice. It's amazing how picky I have become since I decided to try and get serious. My first comp is comming up in 4 weeks. Still have lots of practice ahead of me.
